Sometimes it becomes necessary to upgrade a CDROM drive with the latest
firmware. This can happen if a new CD format or technology has been
developed, e.g. CD plus, CD-enhanced format. Therefore Toshiba provide
you with a special program, which downloads the firmware into the drive's
flash EPROM.

The download program TFER.EXE is a utility that allows XM-3501B, XM-3601B
and XM-3701B Flash EPROM Firmware to be updated via the SCSI BUS using
Adaptec SCSI Host Adapters that have an ASPI software interface.
